I really don’t know what to talk about honestly but I guess the only thing on mind is getting through this semester. So far I’m doing really well, much better than I expected, I have mostly A’s and B’s in my classes. This college stuff is hard but I’m determined to do the best I can, even when times get tough I’ll know I’ll succeed If I continue to put my mind to it. With the support of family and friends continuing to motivate me to strive for the best, will also be a significance to my accomplishments. Overall, I’m just happy I’ve made it this far and in the position I’m in because most people don't get this far.

So I had a test in my Africana Studies class about two weeks  ago and I finally got a grad on it last week. I passed !!! I got a BA on it and it was such a relief because I was really stressed out about this test and the class itself. Although I passed this test I'm worried about this fashion project that we turned in Wednesday and also I took a math exam this week. I just really hope all of my midterm grades are good, I really feel like I’m doing good and I’m aiming for that 3.0.

I really don’t like group projects I honestly prefer to do the work on my own and get help when I need it. I have a group in my fashion class and the people I’m in a group with never seem to have the time to meet, which I find very annoying. What’s the point of being in a group and all people want to do is divide the work and not actually discuss it. Oh yea and the work is due next week and we haven’t met not once. This why I like doing things independently I’m on my time no one else’s. 

So earlier this me and my friends kind of had a debate about a marriage situation. There was a post on Facebook talking about a couple waiting 9 years to actually get married, so my friend, Brandy, asked us what did we think about that. A few of my friends felt as if that was too long to try to ask someone to marry you, especially if there are kids involved. Me personally I think It all depends on the people, maybe they don’t have the money to get married or maybe they don’t believe in the concept of getting married they just want to be with the person they’re in love with. When you think about all marriage is is the government getting more into your business with a few benefits.
