My first semester of college has had its obstacles but I've prevailed through it. I must say I'm very proud of myself that I've gotten this fair and have done so good for myself. I've maintained good grades and I hope and pray that the three exams that I have next week will go good as well. I  must say though, the class that I thought would be my favorite class turned out not to be which was my Africana Studies; I really didn't like the teacher or his style of teaching. I really enjoyed my thought and writing class, I learned I kind of have this passion for writing that I knew was there but this class helped bring it out in me. I not only enjoyed the assignments but the teacher was very helpful when I came to her for help and I enjoyed being one of her students. : )

I really can't wait until I get my license and a car. Since going to college the buses have been my bestfriend, getting to and from places. Although, I appreciate the buses I've gone on too many long journeys. My first journey was to cash my check, my grandparents sent me a check and I thought I could cash it on campus but turns out I couldn't. So i had to get on the bus to go downtown and then got on the bus to take me to the bank; in the mist of all this I was 30 mins late to class. Now today I had to catch three different buses to get to meijers and it took so long to get there. I'm just very impatient and hate being on other people's time.
